Please!

Please! This is an installation which transposes the content of Lea Garofalo's last letter into visual work. The document is deconstructed and brought to life through a series of transactions that would bring to surface some of the aspects of Lea's story. Please! is one of the invocations that Lea Garofalo writes in his letter to the President of the Italian Republic. That please!, oddly out of place, written in English, after a huge letter that collects fears and desire of a normal life, has been removed from the original letter to become the title of the installation itself.

[ITA] Please! È un'installazione che traspone il contenuto dell'ultima lettera di Lea Garofalo in opera visiva. Il documento è destrutturato e reso vivo attraverso una serie di operazioni che ne riportano in superficie alcuni degli aspetti simbolo della vicenda di Lea. Please! È una delle invocazioni che Lea Garofalo scrive nella sua lettera al Presidente della Repubblica. Quel please!, stranamente fuoriluogo, scritto in inglese, dopo una lettera fiume che raccoglie paure e voglia di una vita normale, è stato rimosso dalla lettera originale per diventare il titolo dell'installazione.
